Fiverr for Android is not only an extension of the popular desktop version, but an experience designed for Android users. After installation, users login, scroll through an easy to navigate home screen that highlights Gigs, and search through 120 product and service categories. Fiverr for Android provides another level of discovery for buyers on the go to filter and preview how sellers can best fulfill a business need or creative service.

Highlights Include:

– Database of over 3 million Gigs to choose from on mobile device

– Direct and instant access to sellers with user-generated feedback and quality ratings

– Redesigned user interface with simple marketplace navigation

– Push notifications for messages and order updates provides fast and simple on- the -go communication to fully manage your business needs

“Fiverr for Android opens the service to a new segment of users who are on mobile”, says Fiverr CEO and Co-founder, Micha Kaufman. “This year we are projecting 40% of our traffic will come from mobile. That’s why we’re so committed to investing resources to ensure we give our customers the best experience across all of their devices.”

Individual Gigs start at $5 and top-rated sellers can offer single orders upwards of $8,000. Buyers can now collaborate directly with sellers on large-scale projects and order services while on the go.

Samples of service offerings include: translation, copywriting, editing, videography, logo design, animation, web programming, voiceover talent, and even business and legal advice for small and medium businesses and entrepreneurs.

Fiverr is the leader of a growing movement called the Gig Economy–a marketplace for new entrepreneurs to monetize their skills. Now, with Fiverr for Android, this movement grows even stronger.

As the Gig Economy continues its rapid expansion, the need for marketplaces like Fiverr is essential. Fiverr on desktop, iPhone, and now Android, gives buyers and sellers more opportunities to participate in a freelance marketplace via digital platforms – without limits.

As more and more people become freelancers, individual projects and Gigs have become a major source of income. The creation of both Fiverr Android and iOS apps embraces this trend– an entrepreneurial Gig Economy, where talented individuals have the opportunity to be rewarded for their personal passions, projects, and unique skills, anytime, anywhere.
